I love the 4th of July! What a great holiday...fireworks, grilling out, family and friends, and loving on America a little. So awesome!
Despite my deep-seated affinity for all things British, I couldn't be prouder to be an American. I'm so grateful to live in a country where life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are held up as the pillars of our rights as citizens. I love our country's rich and varied, though young, history and the traditions that have been embedded in my life. We're keeping things low-key, but I'm definitely looking forward to sporting my red, white, and blue, and maybe lighting a sparkler or two.
