Guys! It's October!
Where did September go? Wherever it went, it went fast and I'm kind of okay with that, because it went fast for all the right reasons. October's already picking up speed and shaping up to be an even better month than September. Every month, I like to outline posts I know I want to make, and this month there are so many exclamation points on my outline page--it's going to be SUCH an exclamatory, joy-filled month for me!
Every basic white girl gets all hyper once October rolls around. It always makes me think of Meg Ryan movies and Anne of Green Gables, women who celebrated autumn like it was a vocation. Insert the "You've Got Mail" quote about a bouquet of newly-sharpened pencils here, y'all. Or how about Anne's rhapsodic "I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers?" As Kathleen Kelly and Anne are definitely in the pantheon of my personal female heroes, I'll jump right up on that bandwagon with them. October! I love you!
